It was a very busy day and the MRI lady got backed up. But the lovely receptionist with the very short hair was kind and told us all, play by play, what we could expect and it was as smooth as silk. Being told, makes all the difference, when one has to wait a while. It eased everyone's mind. The MRI lady was just as kind and helpful as she could be. If Dr Adamson surrounds himself with people like those girls, I feel proud to have him as my doctor! Across the spectrum of this practice, I have had great experiences! Thus, the score of 10!!! It is well deserved!
From the check in to the M.R. technologist, everything was perfect. Will refer all to this practice.

I had heard from a 35+ year old friend,whom we both worked as industrial pipefitters/combination pibe welders.Recently 3-1/2 months ago I had Lumbar spine surjury.My best friend had,had the same surgery,say 5-6 years ago.i more less made my mind up to seek help from Georgia Neurosurgical institute,in Macon,Ga.i wanted the same Dr.,as Steve had, perform the lower back surjury.Dr.Hugh Smithson.i had to get in line to see the best of the best though. I was busy completing the studies to varify my specific back issue.after all studies were completed he offered me surjury where I did not hesitate to comply & go through with. The procedure was done at Atrium Health Navicent,on out patient bases In Macon Ga.,at the hospital facility down town on Pine St..i never once had any hesitation to not go threw with it.after 3 1/2 months(now) i honestly feel a full recovery & better quality of life, is very near.

Everyone is so nice at this office. I would highly recommend GNI to anyone needing to see a neurosurgeon. Dr. DeCastro did neck surgery on my husband in October. I am personally seeing him now and his office is very thorough when scheduling tests as well as what to expect.
I waited a little longer pass my appt.time. When the tech came to get he put me at ease. The machine did not work correctly for a few minutes. I was assured that everything was ok. The scan was not bad just noisy. I will go to them again for my scan.
The insurance company is trying everything in their power to keep me from getting the surgery I need on my neck and GNI is assisting me with everything the insurance company keeps asking from me. I am kept informed of the next hoop I have to jump through so we can get my surgery done before permanent nerve damage happens.
